Mission Ferrari represents a groundbreaking milestone in the world of themed attractions, crafted by Dynamic Attractions and celebrated as one of the first-ever SFX Coasters. This revolutionary ride masterfully blends the heart-pounding thrills of a roller coaster with cutting-edge immersive media, delivering an unparalleled sensory experience that redefines storytelling in the amusement park industry.
Innovative Ride Features
At the core of Mission Ferrari are two world-first engineering marvels that elevate the ride’s excitement to unprecedented heights:
- Tilt&Drop: Riders enter a spherical projection dome where the track remains horizontal, immersing them in dazzling visuals. Suddenly, the track tilts downward, triggering a dramatic freefall that creates an exhilarating moment of weightlessness and awe.
- Side-Slide: In a breathtaking finale, the coaster car transitions to a secondary track, positioned perpendicular to the primary one, before descending a vertiginous drop. This daring feature leaves riders breathless and adds an unforgettable climax to the experience.
Our Role in Mission Ferrari
Our team collaborated closely with Miral Experiences and Holovis International throughout the conceptualisation and schematic design phases, playing a pivotal role in shaping the attraction’s immersive elements. One of our key contributions was re-writing the overall narrative concept, ensuring that the story seamlessly integrated the chosen immersive technologies. This approach not only enhanced the storytelling but also helped conceal and highlight the technical features for maximum impact, creating a more cohesive and magical experience.

Collaborating with Holovis International, we focused on designing an immersive audiovisual experience that seamlessly aligned with the reimagined storyline. By crafting a cohesive narrative that enhanced the Tilt&Drop and Side-Slide features, we elevated the ride’s emotional and sensory impact. Through meticulous refinement of real-time media elements, we ensured that every visual, sound, and motion element worked in harmony to captivate and thrill riders from start to finish.
